A 4-Week Online Cohort for Coaches & Facilitators

Wednesday 16:30 – 18:00
online

You already know how to hold space. You know how to read a room, how to ask the question that opens something, how to stay present when things get uncomfortable.

And yet, there are moments in sessions when you sense something is happening in the body that the words aren’t reaching. A held breath. A restless energy. A stillness that isn’t calm. You notice it. But you don’t yet have the tools to work with it.

Embodiment Essentials is for practitioners who are ready to bring the body into the room.

Not as a technique layered onto your existing approach, but as a genuine expansion of how you listen, how you intervene, and how you understand what is happening between you and your clients or groups.

Each session combines:

  • Embodied practice — you experience the tools in your own body before you bring them to clients or groups
  • Facilitation techniques — specific, transferable methods you can use
  • Peer reflection — a small cohort working together, so learning is relational, not just informational

This is not a certification programme. It is an entry point for those who have begun to sense the body’s role in their work.

Week 1

The Listening Body

We begin with the foundational skill: learning to sense and be sensed. What is the body already communicating to you in a session, and to the people you work with? We introduce somatic awareness, interoception, and the basics of embodied presence.

Week 2

Working with Sensation & Impulse

How do you invite a client or group to notice what is happening in the body — without forcing insight or losing the thread of the session? We explore language, pacing, and simple somatic interventions that open rather than direct.

Week 3

Movement as Information

Posture, gesture, breath, and the way someone inhabits a chair – these are data. In this session, we work with movement as a source of information.

Week 4

Integration & Practice

We bring together the threads: personal practice, client and group work, and the ethics of working somatically. Participants leave with a small repertoire of embodied tools, clarity about their own somatic signature as a practitioner, and a sense of how to continue developing.

What you’ll walk away with

  • A direct, personal experience of embodiment practice — in your own body
  • A practice toolkit — a curated set of somatic exercises and facilitation prompts to use between sessions
  • Greater awareness of your own embodied presence as a practitioner
  • A vocabulary for the somatic dimension of your work
  • Continued access to the cohort for peer support and reflection for 3 months after the online sessions

This is for you if:

  • you work as a coach or facilitator and feel curious about the body’s role in what you do
  • you have some experience with reflective or relational practice, but little or no formal somatic training
  • you’ve noticed the body in your sessions and wanted to know what to do with what you see
  • you’re looking for something rigorous and transferable — not just an experience, but a skill set

No prior somatic training is required. Some background in coaching, facilitation, or your own inner work will help you get the most from the cohort.
