embodiment essentials

A 4-Week Online Cohort for Coaches & Facilitators

You’ve read about embodiment.
Now come and feel it.

You already know the theory. Embodiment. Somatic awareness. The body as instrument. You’ve read about it, perhaps trained adjacent to it, maybe even sensed its relevance in your own sessions.

But knowing about the body and working with it are two entirely different things.

Embodiment Essentials is a hands-on lab — four sessions where you stop reading about it and start doing it. In your own body. With others. In real time.

Wednesdays 16:30 – 18:00
online

A place to practice it in yourself, with others, and eventually in your work.

Each session is structured like an experiment. We begin with a question. Something you’ve probably encountered in your practice without knowing what to do with it. Then we go into it together: through the body, through movement, through what arises when we slow down enough to notice.

Theory is minimal. Practice is central. Reflection is collective. You won’t take notes during the session; you’ll take something in your body that you carry with you.

Week 1

The Listening Body

What is your body already receiving that your mind hasn’t registered yet?

We begin in the most fundamental place: sensation. Not as a concept, but as a live experience. What it feels like to be genuinely sensed. What changes when you let yourself be affected by what’s in the room?

Week 2

Sensation & Impulse

How do you invite the body without forcing it?

Working with what arises — a held breath, a restless quality, an impulse to move — without directing it toward a predetermined insight. We practice language that opens rather than leads. Pacing that trusts rather than fills.

Week 3

Movement as Information

What is already being said before anyone speaks?

Posture, gesture, breath, the way someone inhabits their body. We work with movement as data. Not to interpret or diagnose, but to become fluent in a language that is always already present in every session.

Week 4

Integration & Practice

What is your somatic signature as a practitioner?

We bring the threads together not as a conclusion, but as a beginning. What have you discovered about how you listen, how you intervene, how you show up? What do you want to take forward, and how?

This is for you if

  • You’ve read about embodiment, somatic practice, or the body in coaching, and you’re ready to stop reading and start experiencing
  • You work as a coach or facilitator, and sense something is happening in the body of your clients or groups that you don’t yet know how to work with
  • You’re not looking for another certification — you’re looking for actual practice, in a small group, with real reflection
  • You want something rigorous that still leaves room for not-knowing
  • You’re curious about your own somatic signature — how you show up, what your body signals to the people you work with

No prior somatic or movement experience required. Some background in coaching, facilitation, or reflective practice will help you get the most from the lab.

What you leave with

  • IN YOUR BODY: A direct experience of embodiment practice, not as an idea, but as felt sense. You’ll know the difference from the inside.
  • IN YOUR LANGUAGE: A vocabulary for the somatic dimension of your work so you can name what you’ve been noticing without reducing it.
  • IN YOUR PRACTICE: A small toolkit of somatic exercises and facilitation prompts — tested in the lab, transferable to your sessions.
  • IN YOUR COMMUNITY: Access to the cohort for peer reflection and support for 3 months after the sessions end. The lab doesn’t close when Zoom does.
